Follow the changing seasons of coffee through a selection of seasonal exclusives and high-quality micro-lots from around the world. This month’s Rituals
This month we follow Costa Rica’s spine of volcanic mountains through two of its main coffee-growing regions: West Valley and Tarrazú, on either side of the capital San José.
Costa Rica
Both lots are Catuai, a variety that thrives at Costa Rica’s higher elevations, where altitude and volcanic soils tend to produce clean, sweet cups.
Helsar de Zarcero
Helsar de Zarcero is a Honey Catuai from Ricardo Perez in the West Valley, with notes of bright citrus, brown sugar and hazelnut.
Altos
Altos is a Natural Catuai from Mauricio Vindas in Tarrazú, with notes of ripe blueberries, milk chocolate and hazelnut.

Last month's Rituals
Last month the subscription focused on Caturra, the variety that helped put Colombia on the world coffee map.
The coffees showcased Caturra in two community-grown expressions from very different parts of Colombia, El Oromazo from our long-term partners at CDNT in Northern Tolima, and Aponte was a honey-processed Caturra from the Inga community high in the mountains of Nariño.

Rituals features two different coffees every four weeks, available as a single selection or as a subscription. With two 250g bags, you receive one bag of each coffee. With four 250g bags, you receive two bags of each. Occasionally, particularly rare coffees come in 200g bags instead of the usual 250g.
All coffees are roasted light and suited to both filter and espresso.
All changes are made through your subscription portal. Pause, skip or reschedule deliveries, change quantity, swap subscription or cancel at any time. Your subscription renews automatically until you change or cancel it.
You can also add extra coffee or equipment to an upcoming delivery and have everything shipped together.
