The famous 60 degrees

The V60 takes its name from the 60° angle of the dripper, shaping how water moves through the coffee bed. The conical form directs flow toward the centre, increasing contact time and supporting a more even extraction, while spiral ribs maintain airflow between the filter and the dripper.

Originally introduced by Hario in 2005, the V60 is widely used across both cafés and home brewing for its ability to highlight clarity and variation in the coffee.

Method

This straightforward V60 recipe suits all our coffees.

Put the paper in your V60 and give it a good rinse with hot water.

It removes all paper taste and preheat the equipment.

Remove rinsing water.
