Justicia

Created in collaboration with K.H. Würtz for our new café in the Chueca neighborhood in Madrid. The cup takes its cues from the space on C. de las Infantas and the area around it.

Like the café itself, the cup sits between old and new. Handmade using traditional ceramic techniques, it carries the character of a long-standing craft, while the form feels more contemporary; simple, balanced, and current. The glaze is white with a soft pink tone, shifting subtly in different light and giving each piece a quiet sense of variation.
